Goodreads blurb:
Colleen Hoover delivers a tour de force novel about a troubled marriage and the one old forgotten promise that might be able to save it.
Quinn and Graham’s perfect love is threatened by their imperfect marriage. The memories, mistakes, and secrets that they have built up over the years are now tearing them apart. The one thing that could save them might also be the very thing that pushes their marriage beyond the point of repair.

All Your Perfects is a profound novel about a damaged couple whose potential future hinges on promises made in the past. This is a heartbreaking page-turner that asks: Can a resounding love with a perfect beginning survive a lifetime between two imperfect people?

My take:

Colleen Hoover always makes sure to leave her stamp on her work. I think I will be able to tell something is written by her even without knowing. I just love her wit. And this is the latest book by her, and I was anticipating reading it since it was announced. And I read it within the first week of its release. It is only my laziness which took me a month to sit and write a review of this book.

Even though less than 10% of my reading consists of romance books, I feel it is a genre which is equally important to any reader as it gives us a break from heavy reads. Colleen Hoover’s books certainly fall into this 10% of my very selective books. True, I did not like some of her teenage romance books, I now get excited with the news of her new book release as the books she now writes go beyond romance. There is romance, for sure. But there are also other elements which make reading her books much more than mere entertainment.

This book was just as I’d expected it to be. It is woven between two different time frames. One is when the boy meets girl, and the second one is when they have been married for sometime and some serious issues arise out of their marriage.

These two time frames when combined, formed a perfect romance read. The magic of CoHo’s writing is definitely there and I wasn’t bored for even a moment. There are sexy moments, sweet conversations and some realistic situations as well. These combined, the book was exactly my cup of tea.

I’d recommend it to anyone and everyone. I’m sure all the readers would find this book worth reading.

My rating: 5/5 ⭐
